My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I ask for all the faithful of our diocese to pray for the families affected by Hurricane Helene. It made landfall in Florida as a Category 4 and has destroyed many homes and taken lives, including in our own state. We should also pray for all first responders, who dedicate themselves to serving those most in need during crises, and the linemen who work diligently to restore power.

With the recent alterations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding guidance for wearing masks for those fully vaccinated for COVID-19, please note the changes below to virus-related restrictions for our parish.

As more of our fellow parishioners become vaccinated and are starting to return to Mass, the Bishop has altered previous restrictions. Your safety is my utmost priority. I can’t tell you how much I miss seeing all of you and greeting you after Masses and other events. We continue to move forward cautiously. Here is the latest information:
The full Mass schedule as it was on March 17th has been resumed. The church has been prepared so that we can keep social distancing. Note that all Masses are in the new church (with the exception of the Wednesday daily Spanish Mass at 7pm in Old St. Mary’s). Also note that we sanitize between Masses, which means that the new church must unfortunately remain locked during the day to ensure it is clean when you arrive for Holy Mass.
