An Advent Retreat

A message from the Director of Religious Education, Sharon Lynn Osborne ...

"Advent is a time for waiting. We await the feast of Christmaswhen we will celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. But Advent is also a time to look at waiting in an entirely new way. Waiting can also mean being present and open to how Jesus is among us right now: in our encounters with others, in our daily tasks, in our experiences, in our enjoyment of a beautiful day, in our prayer, and in our worship. This kind of waiting is like opening our eyes to what already is and being alert to God's every epiphany. Let us pray for this gift of waiting."

This spiritual reflection can be your companion as you wait for Christ."
